The Orange County Triathlon Club (OC Tri Club) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and proud member club of the USA Triathlon
(USAT) organization . Our group was founded in 1998 in beautiful Orange County, California, where we are still based today. Our members hail from several countries, and some have competed across the globe in events large and small. The club is open to everyone from those contemplating their first event, to intermediate racers, and even professionals looking for a social home in So Cal. Everyone is welcome at the OC Tri Club.

Our membership consists of men and women from all walks of life and all ability levels. Many members are preparing for their first ever recreational event, while others have competed at the highest levels of the sport for years. The majority of our members enjoy training for and competing as non-professional age group racers. We also enjoy races of various distances such as; super print, sprint, Olympic, International, Half Ironman and Ironman. The camaraderie and sense of community in the sport of Triathlon is unmatched across all skill levels and this mentality thrives in the OC Tri Club.

Being a sanctioned USAT club, the OC Tri Club hosts several training and racing events each year to encourage further participation in a healthy, multi-sport lifestyle. Our events include an annual sprint distance triathlon for members only, bike time trials, kids events, and ongoing, year-round group training opportunities. Our members also enjoy various sports and activities related to Triathlon, such as recreational and competitive road biking, Mt. biking, open water swimming, Masters pool swimming, running (5k, 10k, 1/2 marathon, marathon and ultra-marathon), trail running, adventure racing and Duathlon.

If you're in the area please join us at one of our monthly meetings in Irvine, CA. These meetings are open to everyone, and there is a place here for triathlon veterans and "Newbies" alike. Most importantly, we love to meet nice folks who are interested in learning and sharing more about this great sport. We encourage you to explore our web site as it has plenty of information about the club and will give you a taste of our group. Thanks for visiting www.OCTriClub.com. We hope to see you around the club and transition area soon!
